Description
The Shaper Bar takes the wearbar design and performance to a new level! This bar offers a unique shape that provides much better turning than conventional bars and offers a 20% weight savings too! The concave side profile on the Shaper Bar grabs and holds snow rather than allowing snow to slip by like other wearbars. While the shape of this bar improves the turning radius of your sled on the trail, the large 60º carbide provides great control and wear on hard surfaces. The "Shaper" Bar is the original and still the best handling wearbar in the industry since 2002. Made from "cold rolled steel" to the patented shape with large 60° degree cutting carbide for durability and precise handling. The concave side profile grabs and holds snow for better and more precise turning. NOTE: Now E-coated in a corrosion-resistant black finish (may receive zinc plated bars -depending on stock). Sold in pairs.

Vehicle Information
Polaris Super Sport 550 Snowmobile (2004-2008)
The Polaris Super Sport 550, produced from 2004 to 2008, is a popular snowmobile known for its reliable performance. It consistently featured a 544cc fan-cooled, 2-stroke engine, generally delivering around 60 horsepower. This engine was a horizontal in-line, reed valve design. Throughout its production, Polaris introduced several enhancements to this model. In 2004, the 550 engine received significant upgrades, including a new pipe and digital ignition, which led to a slight increase in horsepower and improved fuel economy. The Polaris Electronic Reverse Control (PERC) and a TEAM clutch were also integrated. Further improvements came in 2007 with the introduction of NiCaSil-lined cylinders for the 550cc engine, boosting its performance, durability, and reliability. Various trims were offered, such as the Super Sport M-10 (referring to a suspension package), Super Sport Edge, and 550 EDGE LX, providing options for different rider preferences. FAQ:
