Description
The Shaper Bar takes the wearbar design and performance to a new level! This bar offers a unique shape that provides much better turning than conventional bars and offers a 20% weight savings too! The concave side profile on the Shaper Bar grabs and holds snow rather than allowing snow to slip by like other wearbars. While the shape of this bar improves the turning radius of your sled on the trail, the large 60º carbide provides great control and wear on hard surfaces. The "Shaper" Bar is the original and still the best handling wearbar in the industry since 2002. Made from "cold rolled steel" to the patented shape with large 60° degree cutting carbide for durability and precise handling. The concave side profile grabs and holds snow for better and more precise turning. NOTE: Now E-coated in a corrosion-resistant black finish (may receive zinc plated bars -depending on stock). Sold in pairs.

Vehicle Information
Ski-Doo MXZ 440 Snowmobile (1996-2007)
The Ski-Doo MXZ 440, produced from 1996 to 2007, was a high-performance snowmobile known for its agility and race-bred capabilities. Powered by a robust Rotax twin-cylinder engine, typically around 437-440cc, it was offered in both liquid-cooled (LC) and fan-cooled (Fan) versions. This model underwent significant evolution in its chassis and engine configurations throughout its production run, catering to both recreational riders and serious racers. The MXZ 440 saw three distinct chassis generations. It started on the S-Chassis (1996-1998), which improved suspension travel. In 1999, it transitioned to the all-new ZX Chassis (1999-2002), offering enhanced handling. A major generational shift occurred in 2003 with the introduction of the REV Chassis (2003-2007), providing an advanced rider-forward position. Engine refinements included carburetor model changes for race versions in 2001-2002 and increased compression ratios with improved carb calibrations in 2004 for better performance. Various trims like LC, Fan, ZX, X, and MXZX denoted cooling types or race-specific packages. Q: How do I know if this part fits my Ski-Doo MXZ 440?
A: To ensure perfect compatibility, please use the year and model selector at the top of this page.
