Vehicle Information
BMW HP4 Motorcycle - Street (2013-2020)
The BMW HP4 is a high-performance motorcycle derived from the S1000RR, primarily produced for the 2013 and 2014 model years. It featured a water-cooled, 999cc inline four-cylinder engine, producing 193 hp and 112 Nm of torque. The HP4 stood out with significant upgrades over the standard S1000RR, including the first production motorcycle semi-active suspension system, Dynamic Damping Control (DDC), refined Race ABS, Launch Control, a standard Quickshifter, and weight reduction through lighter forged wheels and a titanium exhaust system. The engine offered increased mid-range torque and delivered full power across all riding modes. The main package available was the "Competition Package," which included carbon fiber components and adjustable HP levers. A distinct version, the BMW HP4 Race, was introduced in 2017. This limited-production model (750 units) was exclusively for track use and not street-legal. It shared the 999cc engine but produced 215 hp, featuring an all-carbon fiber chassis. FAQ:
