The GAS GAS MC 50 is a youth motocross motorcycle, spanning a wide period from 2005 to 2026. Initially, GasGas's 50cc lineup included distinct models such as the MC Boy 50 and the EC Rookie 50. The MC 50 as we know it was introduced in 2021, marking a new era for the brand in this segment. Prior to 2021, GasGas offered various 50cc models, but the current MC 50 debuted in 2021 with a 49cc 2-stroke engine, automatic transmission, and WP suspension. It maintained this platform until 2023, with graphic updates. The year 2024 brought a major revamp: a new 49.9cc engine, a chassis inspired by larger models, and notably, adjustable ergonomics to adapt to growing young riders. 2025 and 2026 models continued on this foundation, with targeted improvements such as a reinforced gearbox and fork updates in 2026.
