- The compression spring in the Arctic Cat B.O.S.S. clutch has to rotate in the spider as the clutch shifts. You can greatly reduce the scrubbing friction of the spring with the Delrin washer kit. Slippery Delrin washers go on top of the spring where it sits in the spider.
