The Suzuki SFV650, also known as the Gladius, is a versatile naked motorcycle produced from 2009 to 2016. It served as a successor to the second-generation SV650, offering a modern aesthetic and enhanced performance. Powering the SFV650 is a reliable liquid-cooled, 645 cc, 90-degree V-twin engine, delivering approximately 71 to 77 horsepower. Introduced in 2009, the SFV650 represented a significant evolution, featuring a redesigned chassis with a new tubular trellis-style steel frame and a lower seat height. The 645 cc V-twin engine received updates for improved fuel economy, lower emissions, and optimized power delivery across the rev range. Throughout its production, the SFV650 maintained this core platform without major mid-cycle generation changes.
