Vehicle Information
Sea-Doo RXT-X 300 Personal Watercraft (2016-2023)
The Sea-Doo RXT-X 300, produced from 2016 to 2023, is a high-performance personal watercraft designed for thrill-seekers. It is powered by the Rotax 1630 ACE engine, displacing 1630cc and delivering 300 horsepower. This supercharged, intercooled engine is renowned for its power and acceleration, offering a dynamic on-water riding experience. While the 1630 ACE engine was introduced in 2016 and remained consistent, a significant evolution occurred around 2018-2019 with the introduction of the ST3 hull. This new platform greatly enhanced stability and offshore performance, incorporating features like a larger swim platform and direct-access front storage. Variations between model years were primarily limited to color options and the addition of technology packages, such as the BRP audio system and a larger display in later years. FAQ:
Q: Is my RXT-X 300 compatible with this product?
R: To ensure perfect compatibility, please use the year and edition selector at the top of the page.
Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Engine oil and filter | 10 hours (initial break-in), then 50 hours or annually | The first oil and filter change is crucial after the initial break-in. Subsequently, replace the oil and filter annually or every 50 hours, whichever comes first. Using XPS 5W-40 marine-grade synthetic oil is recommended. |
| Spark plugs | 50 hours or annually | Inspect or replace spark plugs as part of the annual or 50-hour service to ensure consistent performance. |
| Coolant | 300 hours or 4-5 years | Coolant should be replaced every 4 to 5 years or 300 hours, whichever comes first. Use XPS Extended Life Pre-Mixed Coolant. |
| Supercharger | Inspection at 200 hours (2017 and newer models) | For 2016 models, a rebuild is generally required every 100 hours or 2 years. For 2017 and newer models, the supercharger is considered "maintenance-free," but an inspection is recommended every 200 hours. |
