- WAVEWERX® wear rings are engineered as a sacrificial ring made of high-performance acetal resin plastic.
- Replacement of the wear ring helps to provide the correct clearance for the impeller to build the proper amount of thrust. Reducing cavitation in the jet pump assembly known to cause decreased performance and speed.
- WAVEWERX® recommends replacement of wear rings and jet pump seals when doing any work inside the jet pump.
