Vehicle Information
Suzuki Marauder 1600 Motorcycle - Street (2004)
The 2004 Suzuki Marauder 1600, also known as the VZ1600, was a prominent cruiser motorcycle. Powered by a 1552 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, it delivered 72 to 73 horsepower and 125 Nm (92 lb-ft) of torque. This model was introduced in 2004, building upon the Marauder 800, but notably featured digital fuel injection compared to the 800's carburetors. Interestingly, the VZ1600 Marauder was essentially a rebadged Kawasaki VN1600 Mean Streak, sharing its frame, suspension, and major components, with only minor cosmetic differences. While no mid-cycle changes occurred in 2004, the model saw a name change in 2005 to Suzuki Boulevard M95 (US) or Intruder M1600 (Europe). The 2005 model also featured a minor braking system change, moving from 6-piston to 4-piston radial calipers on the front. FAQ:
