Vehicle Information
Yamaha Tri Moto 175 ATV (1982-1983)
The Yamaha Tri-Moto 175, designated YT175, was a popular three-wheeler produced from 1982 to 1983. Known for its impressive performance, it was considered the fastest in its class. Both model years featured a robust 171 cc air-cooled, two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with an Autolube oil injection system for optimal engine life. It came standard with a 5-speed automatic clutch transmission, a fully enclosed 520 O-ring chain drive, and a trailer hitch. While there wasn't a full generation change between 1982 and 1983, the 1983 model received significant engine refinements. Yamaha adjusted the porting, modified the reed-valve cage, and altered the combustion chamber shape to produce even more torque, making it faster than its predecessor. Both years were offered as a single standard YT175 model, without distinct trim levels. Q: How do I know which parts fit my Yamaha Tri-Moto 175?
A: To ensure perfect compatibility, please use the year and edition selector at the top of this page.
