Vehicle Information
Honda ATC125 ATV (1984-1987)
The Honda ATC125M, produced from 1984 to 1987, was a popular three-wheeled ATV known for its versatility and ease of use. Powered by a reliable 124cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine, it offered a blend of utility and recreational riding. Throughout its production, the ATC125M was consistently offered as a single trim model. A significant mid-cycle revision occurred in 1986, dividing the ATC125M into two distinct generations. The 1984-1985 models featured a horizontal OHV engine and a 4-speed automatic clutch dual-range transmission, providing eight forward gears. They also introduced an electric starter. For 1986-1987, the engine was completely redesigned to a vertical mount OHV, and a 5-speed automatic clutch transmission with a reverse gear was introduced, a unique feature for a chain-drive ATC. The second generation also adopted a more modern design, including new bodywork and a front drum brake. FAQ:
