The Honda Foreman 450, produced from 1998 to 2004, was a utility ATV known for its robust performance and durability. It was powered by an air-cooled, OHV (Overhead Valve), longitudinally mounted single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a 433cc displacement, providing reliable power for work applications. Initially launched in 1998, the Foreman 450 was available in two primary trims: the manual-shift Foreman S (TRX450S/TRX450FM) and the Foreman ES (TRX450ES/TRX450FE) featuring Honda's innovative Electric Shift Program (ESP). ESP allowed push-button gear changes while retaining a five-speed manual transmission. In 2002, Honda introduced the TraxLok system, its first switch-operated 2WD/4WD system, enhancing versatility with a torque-sensitive, limited-slip front differential.
