Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Jag 275 Snowmobile (1976-1980)
The Arctic Cat Jag 275, and its successor the Jag 2000, were popular snowmobiles produced from 1976 to 1980. These models primarily featured a 275cc engine, the Suzuki-Spirit AA28F free-air cooled unit, known for its smooth, fuel-efficient performance. The Jag series underwent several evolutions during this period. In 1977, the trim color changed to a distinctive "Cat green." The year 1978 introduced a new hood design and the "Jag 2000" designation for the 275cc model. Significant upgrades occurred in 1979, including the rear suspension slide rails changing from steel to extruded aluminum, increasing travel from 7 cm to 10 cm for a smoother ride. The Mikuni carburetor was also updated from a slide-type to a butterfly-type, which was less prone to freeze-up. Q: Is this product compatible with my 1978 Arctic Cat Jag 275?
R: To ensure perfect compatibility, please use our year and model selector at the top of the page.
