Vehicle Information
Ski-Doo Formula Z 583 Snowmobile (1994-1999)
The Ski-Doo Formula Z 583 was an iconic snowmobile produced from 1994 to 1999. Known for its robust Rotax 583 engine, this model was powered by a liquid-cooled 581cc twin-cylinder engine, producing approximately 102 to 105 horsepower. It offered a balance of power, agility, and ride comfort. During its production, the Formula Z 583 underwent significant evolutions. Launched in 1994 on the F chassis with a mechanical disc brake, it was upgraded in 1995 with a hydraulic brake and rebuildable shocks. In 1996, the C-7 rear suspension was replaced by the SC-10, offering significantly improved comfort. From 1997, the model adopted the S-2000 chassis, an advanced platform for its time. The 1998 and 1999 models, sometimes referred to as the 'Formula 583 Z', maintained the proven Rotax 583 engine. Q: Is this product compatible with my snowmobile?
