Vehicle Information
Ducati ST4 Motorcycle - Street (1999-2005)
The Ducati ST4 series, produced from 1999 to 2005, represents a line of sport-touring motorcycles powered by superbike-derived engines. Initially, the ST4 model (1999-2003) featured a 916cc engine. From 2001/2002, the more performance-oriented ST4S was introduced, boasting a larger 996cc engine and upgraded suspension components, including Showa forks and an Öhlins monoshock. An Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) became an option for the ST4S from 2003. The series saw a significant facelift in 2004, bringing updates to the nose, headlight, dashboard, and ergonomics, along with a new seat design and a CAN-bus wiring system. In 2005, a wet clutch was introduced, improving clutch feel and gear changes. These changes reflect a continuous evolution of the ST4 platform during its production run. FAQ:
