Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Alterra TRV 500 ATV (2017-2020)
The Arctic Cat Alterra TRV 500, produced from 2017 to 2020, is a robust two-rider ATV designed for adventure. It is powered by a consistent 443cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC, 4-stroke engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI), delivering a steady 33 horsepower. This model features an extended chassis, a comfortable passenger seat, padded backrest, and ergonomically friendly passenger handles, along with SpeedRack II composite racks and dual halogen/LED lighting. During this period, the Alterra TRV 500 saw notable developments. In 2017, it was available in a standard version and an XT version with Electronic Power Steering (EPS). 2018 marked a brand transition following Textron Inc.'s acquisition of Arctic Cat, with models marketed under the Textron Off Road banner, though core specifications remained identical. In 2019, the lineup expanded with the introduction of the Alterra 570 (545cc engine on a larger chassis), which co-existed with the 443cc TRV 500. By 2020, the Arctic Cat brand was reinstated, and the TRV 500 continued to be offered alongside the Alterra 570. FAQ:
