Vehicle Information
Suzuki TM75 Mini Cross Dirt Bike (1974-1976)
The Suzuki TM75 Mini Cross, offered from 1974 to 1976, was a popular mini-cross motorcycle. It featured a consistent 49cc two-stroke single-cylinder engine, rated at 5 horsepower, with CCI oil injection, rotary-valve induction, and a four-speed gearbox. The 1974 TM75L, the inaugural model, was based on the Suzuki TS50, featuring rotary disc induction, Posi-Force lubrication, and a fuel tank with dark green and white stripes. The 1975 TM75M saw minor cosmetic updates, most notably an all-yellow fuel tank with a Suzuki logo over a rising sun design. For 1976, the TM75A, while largely similar, introduced a fuel tank with only the Suzuki name, a black front number plate, yellow side panels with black number plates, updated front forks, and an exhaust system with a rear silencer and black cover. Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Gearbox Oil | Every 5 to 10 hours of use or every 6 months | The TM75's two-stroke engine does not have a traditional engine oil filter. Gearbox oil needs regular changing. If a gearbox filter is present, it should be replaced with every oil change. |
| Spark Plug | Every 13,000 to 16,000 km or every 30 hours of use (off-road) | For off-road motorcycles, more frequent checking is advised. |
| Air Filter | Clean and re-oil every 4,800 to 8,000 km or every 3 to 4 hours of use (dusty conditions) | Replace after 10 to 15 cleanings. In very dusty conditions, weekly cleaning may be necessary. |
