BMW C650GT Scooter (2013-2020)
The BMW C650GT, a premium touring maxi-scooter, was produced from the 2013 to 2020 model years. Designed for comfort and long-distance travel, it featured a liquid-cooled, 647 cc parallel twin engine, consistently delivering 60 hp (44 kW) at 7,500 rpm throughout its production run. While engine displacement remained constant, BMW introduced several refinements.
A significant update occurred for the 2016 model year. This revision included a modified Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for smoother operation, a redesigned exhaust system for improved sound and emissions, and the standardization of Automatic Stability Control (ASC) alongside ABS for enhanced safety. Engine management was recalibrated to meet Euro 4 standards, and the scooter received updated rear styling and taillights. An innovative Side View Assist (SVA) system became an optional feature.
