Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat 50 ATV (2004-2008)
The Arctic Cat 50, a youth ATV produced from 2004 to 2008, featured a single-cylinder engine, automatic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), and 2x4 driveline. A significant change occurred in 2006. Models from 2004-2005 were equipped with a 49cc, 2-stroke engine and rear drum brakes. From 2006 to 2008, the Arctic Cat 50 transitioned to a 49.1cc (or 50cc), 4-stroke engine with SOHC and air-cooling, alongside an upgrade to rear hydraulic disc brakes for both the 50 Auto and 50 DVX trims. Throughout this period, the main trims included the standard Arctic Cat 50 2x4 (also known as "Auto") and the sportier Arctic Cat 50 DVX. These trims saw minor naming variations, such as "2x4 Automatic" in later years, and various color options. FAQ:
