Vehicle Information
Ducati GT1000 Motorcycle - Street (2005-2010)
The Ducati GT1000, a distinguished member of the SportClassic range, was produced from 2007 to 2010. Designed for a blend of comfort and sport-touring, it featured an air-cooled, 992 cc L-twin Desmodromic engine. This robust powerplant consistently delivered around 92 HP (some sources indicate 82 HP) at 8000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm throughout its production. The GT1000 utilized a tubular steel trellis frame, adapted for twin shock absorbers. Throughout its 2007-2010 run, the GT1000 maintained its core 992cc L-twin engine and platform without major generational changes. A notable update occurred in 2008 with a revised exhaust system to meet Euro3 emission standards. In 2010, the GT1000 Touring trim was introduced, offering the same mechanicals but adding touring-oriented accessories like a detachable windscreen, passenger grab handles, a rear luggage rack, and a more comfortable dual seat.
