Vehicle Information
Honda CBR954RR Motorcycle - Street (2002-2003)
The Honda CBR954RR, produced for the 2002 and 2003 model years, was a high-performance sportbike that significantly upgraded its predecessor, the CBR929RR. Both model years featured a potent 954cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, consistently delivering around 155 horsepower at 11,250 rpm. This model was offered as a single, high-performance variant without distinct sub-trims. While belonging to the same generation, the 2002 and 2003 CBR954RR models saw several refinements. For 2003, the engine received larger 42mm fuel injectors with 12 laser-drilled holes, a larger radiator, a re-mapped electronic fuel injection (PGM-FI) system, and a more powerful Electronic Control Module (ECU) to enhance performance. The 2002 model also received a product update where the steering head's tapered rollers were replaced with ball bearings for improved handling. Notably, the 2003 model was the last Fireblade to feature a hinged pillion seat. Frequently Asked Questions:
