Vehicle Information
Husqvarna TE 449 Motorcycle - Dual-Sport (2011-2013)
The Husqvarna TE 449, produced from 2011 to 2013, is a robust enduro and off-road motorcycle. It is powered by a consistent 449cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC single-cylinder engine throughout these production years. This model is notable for innovations such as the Coaxial Traction System (CTS) and an unconventional under-seat fuel tank placement designed for a lower center of gravity. While the engine remained consistent, the TE 449 underwent significant evolutions. The 2011 model introduced the steel frame and Kayaba suspension. In 2012, the chassis was strengthened with an all-black chrome-molybdenum frame, and Kayaba suspension settings were revised for improved handling. Aesthetic and ergonomic enhancements, along with a simplified electrical system, were also implemented. The 2013 model received minor updates, including new in-mold graphics and a revised chain guard. FAQ:
