The KTM 625 SXC, produced from 2003 to 2005, is a competition-focused cross-country motorcycle. It features a 625cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder LC-4 engine with a five-speed transmission and a wet multi-disc clutch. This model is positioned as a robust and high-performance machine, emphasizing durability and power for demanding terrains. Although the 625 SXC was offered as a single trim, significant improvements were made over the years. In 2004, an electric starter and battery were added for convenience, and the model was equipped with a Mikuni CV carburetor. For 2005, the electric starter was retained, and the carburetor was updated to a Keihin MX FCR 41. Engine power remained consistent, around 32-33 hp, throughout this period.
