Vehicle Information
Yamaha Vino 50 Scooter (2001-2018)
The Yamaha Vino 50, a classic-styled scooter, was produced from 2001 to 2018. Known for its timeless design and urban maneuverability, it consistently featured a 49cc engine displacement throughout its production.
Significant changes occurred during this period. Initially, models (YJ50, approximately 2001-2005) were equipped with a 2-stroke engine, offering about 6.2 horsepower. From 2006, the Vino 50 (XC50) transitioned to a more fuel-efficient and less polluting 4-stroke engine, producing approximately 4.1 to 4.5 horsepower. This 4-stroke engine was initially carbureted, then received Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) from 2013 onwards, improving throttle response and efficiency. Key designations included the Vino (2-stroke) and Vino Classic (4-stroke), with editions like the Deluxe, Molfe, and 20th Anniversary.
