Vehicle Information
Yamaha Sidewinder SRX 1000 Snowmobile (2019-2025)
The Yamaha Sidewinder SRX 1000 snowmobile, produced from 2019 to 2025, is a performance machine renowned for its powerful turbocharged engine. At the core of this series is a 998cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Genesis 998 Turbo engine, delivering an estimated 180+ horsepower. All models during this period are SRX LE versions, equipped with Fox iQS shocks for electronic damping adjustment and an SRV chassis optimized for handling and high-speed stability. The 137-inch Camso Ripsaw track with 1.00-inch lugs is designed to maximize top speed. While the 998cc turbocharged engine remained consistent, the most significant evolution for the Sidewinder SRX 1000 was the introduction of Electric Power Steering (EPS). Starting with the 2023 model year, EPS was integrated into the SRX LE models, significantly improving steering precision and reducing rider effort, especially at low speeds. Models from 2019 to 2022 did not feature this functionality. The 2024 and 2025 models continued with EPS, with the 2025 model being a “Final Edition” celebrating Yamaha's legacy. FAQ :
