These models were primarily equipped with fan-cooled Rotax twin-cylinder engines, with displacements generally ranging between 437cc and 443cc. Designed for long rides, the Touring 440 series offered an enjoyable riding experience for trail enthusiasts. An important distinction exists between the 1995 model year and subsequent years. While the 1996 to 2000 Touring 440 models more consistently utilized the 437cc or 443cc engine, the 1995 year showed greater engine variation for "Touring" models, some not being 440cc.
