Vehicle Information
Can-Am Spyder RS Motorcycle - Street (2010-2016)
The Can-Am Spyder RS, a sport-oriented three-wheeled vehicle, was produced from 2010 until its discontinuation in 2016. Throughout these model years, it was consistently powered by a 998cc Rotax V-twin engine. A significant mid-cycle update occurred in 2013. While the engine displacement remained 998cc, the engine was re-tuned, resulting in a slight decrease in peak horsepower but an increase in torque delivered at lower RPMs. This update also brought a new chassis, an upgraded braking system with Brembo calipers, larger 15-inch front wheels on RS-S models, and electronic throttle control. The RS-S trim specifically gained Fox Podium shocks and standard electronic cruise control. The 2016 model year saw cosmetic upgrades, including new colors and styling elements, before the series was discontinued. FAQ:
