The BMW R90S, produced from 1973 to 1976, was a distinctive sport motorcycle renowned for its performance and styling. Powered by an 898 cc air-cooled, two-cylinder boxer engine, it produced 67 hp. This iconic model was distinguished by its unique design and paint options. While the R90S was not offered in different "trims" in the modern sense, it underwent several significant evolutions during its production. The initial 1974 model (September 1973 to August 1974) featured "Smoke Black/Silver" paint with adhesive pinstripes, a 14mm front axle, and a 238-watt alternator.
