Vehicle Information
Husqvarna TC 450 Dirt Bike (2002-2011)
The Husqvarna TC 450, a prominent motocross model, was produced from 2002 to 2011. Throughout its production, it consistently featured a 449cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with a DOHC valve configuration. Initially, models were carbureted, primarily with Mikuni and later Keihin systems, and equipped with a 5-speed transmission. A notable evolution occurred in 2008, when the TC 450 adopted an electronic fuel injection (EFI) system and a 6-speed transmission, alongside suspension revisions. However, some subsequent models reverted to carburetion before EFI became standard again. The most significant transformation arrived in 2011 with a radical redesign, incorporating the BMW 450X engine with EFI and electric start, an all-new frame, swingarm, and Kayaba suspension, marking a distinct generation.
