Vehicle Information
Yamaha Jog 50 Scooter (1986-2001)
The Yamaha Jog 50, available in North America from 1986 to 2001, is a compact and agile scooter. Known for its simplicity and reliability, it was powered by a 49cc two-stroke, air-cooled Minarelli single-cylinder engine throughout its production. Initially marketed as the "Riva Jog," it later became known simply as the "Jog." This model underwent several evolutions, including chassis and engine changes, which marked its different generations. The Jog 50 experienced two major generational breaks. The first in 1988, transitioning from the CE50 (1986-1987) to the CG50 (1988-1991), which introduced a new frame and restyled bodywork while retaining the vertical Minarelli engine. The second occurred in 1992, with the introduction of the CY50 (1992-2001). This model featured an entirely new frame and body style, along with a significant change to an air-cooled 49cc horizontal Minarelli engine. These evolutions aimed to enhance the scooter's performance and aesthetics. Q: Is my Yamaha Jog 50 compatible with this part?
A: To ensure compatibility, please use the year and model selector at the top of the page.
