I am quite satisfied with the windshield and wiper. However, installation was a lot more difficult than I anticipated. The SuperATV instructions were incomplete. I contacted SuperATV with two questions:
- there is no fuse in the holder on the windshield wiring harness. Is there supposed to be one? What amperage?
- I cannot see how to install the washer tank according to the instructions. Where does it mount?
Their support technician replied:
- There is no inline fuse for this kit. Where it ties into your aux plug in location located under the dash, it utilizes an onboard
fuse from your machine instead of a separate inline fuse.
- The item circled in red is your airbox.
The answer to the first question was incorrect. Although the drawings in the instructions do not show them, there are fuses for both the wiper circuit and the windshield actuator circuit. There was no fuse supplied for the windshield actuator circuit. The answer to the second question was correct, however, the instructions do not clearly state where the washer bottle is located.
In addition, to make the bottle fit, I had to drill holes in the supplied bracket.
The wiring was very difficult to run through the firewall and the power terminals were very difficult to attach to the power block.
Excellent quality with great instructions. Very happy with how it works. A much more affordable option than oem.
Super content.
