I Installed the Tusk Waypoints on a 2023 KLR 650. Over 4000kms on them now with a really solid blend of highway, gravel and trail, most of it with about 50lbs of luggage on. The roughly 500kms of trail has ranged from soft dirt to full on rock with even a bit of pure sand in the mix (Brule Lake).

I have nothing but good to say about these tires. They have been fantastic on all surfaces. It has taken a while to rebuild confidence in my offroad sidewall traction coming off of Motoz Tractionator GPS's but the Waypoints are helping tremendously. They are not chunking from the rocks or wearing unevenly at all. I like my bike to be a swiss army knife and really mix street/gravel/trail riding. I don't want to take the time to mess with pressure that often so I keep them at 32ish PSI for all riding...let them go much below 30psi and they hum noticeably on the highway. Running a lower pressure offroad would probably be better raw traction, but 32 works for me. On road traction is adequate at least. I hang corners pretty quickly at times and have not had any uncomfortable moments.

As for longevity, I'd say they have comfortably another 2000-3000kms in them before i replace them.

Just put 1200km of British Columbia highway, fsr, and trail in dry and wet conditions. Took a Motoz tractionator off and replaced it with this. Not even the same bike. Feels like I lost 20hp. Used to break rear loose with the lightest addition of power, which is fun to a point. This thing just holds on and hooks up. Rip the throttle and no washing or breaking loose. This tire is so confidence building after dealing with the “tractionator” for 3500 km. Had another 1000 km left but was over the constant washing of rear end. If you like to drift, get the Motoz.
Anyhow more of a rant against expensive Motoz than anything. You won’t be disappointed with this tire and will save a bunch of money.
Looks good after 1200km. Still square edged lugs.
Riding Tenere 700.

Good 50/50

I put around 500km on this tire before a nail killed so not sure on longevity.

For the short time it was used it was a good 50/50 tire and better then expeded off road when dry. Wet it will slide around a bit but thats to be expected. Great on logging roads and quiet on pavement. Good tire for the price.
