I’ve run these tires on my bike for three years now and get stability durability and longevity out of these tires.
I have 3 cruiser style motorcycles and the Metzeler 888 series is the best tire I have used, It turns wet pavement to dry. I constantly get 20,000KM out of a rear and 35,000+ KM out of a front.
Great tire,good traction wet and dry. First time with these tires. Time will tell what kind of mileage. Installed on Kawasaki Voyager 1700.

Have run Metzler 888 from road king to ultra now and stand the test. Proper air pressure and they run awesome, smooth, longevity good cornering.

Outstanding tire. Just purchased my 2nd 888 Marathon Ultra rear tire, after getting 18K+ KM from the last tire. Running on a Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Tire provides great traction and ride, and what I consider outstanding distance. For a heavy touring bike, this tire gets my recommendation.

Apart from the rate of wear, these are great tyres. They handle well until they square off and it is then time for a change.
Haven’t gone far but so far so good.
Sturdy, sticky tire. I'm hoping to get a lot of kms out of it. Hard sidewall, I recommend having a shop install it for you so you don't mess up the bead.
