Great price and service
I had it mounted by a shop, very stiff walls .I only used it for 800 km but I like it soo far .It grabs really good on gravel and loose rock.Good on dry pavement too,I dont ride fast on street anyway .Curious to see how long it last ,very good value for the size 140/80 18
Works great off road with light steering on rd
Meilleur pneu ever pour la trail... Mordent bien, ne sont pas imprévisible, capable de faire 4000 km facile avec et mordent encore...
This tire was $130 when I bought it but now $188 so not a good deal anymore.
Pro:
Was cheap
Decent offroad traction when new
Average on road taction at lower speeds
Not to loud on pavement at lower speeds
Decent tread life
Good for heavier bikes
Con:
Now expensive
Very heavy
Hard tire so on trail tube swap can be a pain
Traction falls off quick around halfway
Gets loud above 100kph on road
Not great on corner exits and sketch on road
Decent tire but nothing special. Not worth $188 IMO
Nice price, seem good off road, a good value.
If you ride mostly off trail you will love this tire. It has the tallest lugs for a road legal tire that I have found. I only have a few hundred km's so far but it works awesome!
easy installation, tire looks good..
These look great. Haven't tried them yet as we currently have too much snow and Ice to ride. Will update in the spring.
Rear tire gives you plenty of feel with the ply of sidewall very firm go on great with good tire lube I recommend them.
They look a great tire stiff side wall gives you lots of feel and grip.
Have not tried it yet
These hard terrain dirt tires are good on all types of terrain soft hard wet or dry, now for the D O T part. They wear incredibly good on road and exhibit good manners with low noise. Overall a very good tire at any price point but also happens to be very inexpensive as well. Win win win for these tires
These tires are way better than the stock tires that were on my bike. It tended to wander a bit going down the road but now it holds a straight track. Would definitely buy another set!.
Fantastic looking tire. VERY stiff sidewalls, so I mounted the tube in the tire with just enough air to hold its shape BEFORE putting the rim onto the tire. Feed a small wire through the valve stem of the inner tube (google it) and thread it through the rim hole. Then pull the wire as you put the rim onto the tire to get the valve stem lined up and through the rim hole. Otherwise, if you wait to put the inner tube in once you’ve got the rim onto one tire bead….you’ll regret it. Sidewalls are so stiff you almost cannot do it without ruining the back of your hand. YouTube trick and it works. Did a complete rear tire removal of old/ new one installed (140 width) in less than an hour and one pint of beer.
Very aggressive thread at an excellent price!
Replaced my D606 on my DR650 with these, very happy, they are a bit more aggressive for street riding, but still perform very well, once offroad, they really shine.
Very hard to beat for the price. It is aggressive for street use (so a bit noisy, but not an issue), but offroad its brilliant, so far wearing well.
Great tire, the best for the price
Pretty nice tire for the price.
I have had the Tusk d sport on my crf450rl for 1000kms it has crazy traction in sand mud and dirt and shows no real signs of wear. I would definitely recommend this tire even over the d606
