Wow, what a difference from OEM windscreen. Night and day. I'm 6' and Kawasaki factory windscreen offered little wind protection even at full extention. Experienced a lot of buffeting with it. I switched to this Givi windscreen for more protection. It was very easy to remove original screen and install new one. All necessary hardware was included. Pop a few bolts off and install was quick and easy. I am able to ride now with helmet visor up if I want and I don't get near the noise/wind rush that I got before install. Holds up well at higher speeds (120-130 kmh). If you're looking for better wind protection I highly recommend. Haven't tested in rain but I am sure it will offer better protection than what I had.

The shield is a little thinner than expected, but works well and can’t beet the price!!

I replaced the factory shield on my MS 1200 Enduro when I got it last summer. I don't recall the Givi smoked being available back then. The Touratech smoked was simply not usable as it was almost black, and the clear plastic scratched way too easily. It's a great design, but for the price, I would have expected better wear protection. Enter the Givi one. Less than half the price, wider design, perfect level of smoke and although not as tall as the Touratech, affords the same level of wind protection because of it's clever angled corner design. The overpriced Touratech just went into storage. Time will tell however on the quality of the plastic/acrylic.
