Heidenau K60 Tire

This is my second front K60 in the last couple of years. The last one lasted 20,000Km ish. It still had a ton of tread to go but at this point it was starting to cup and have handle bar vibrations. I’m very happy with the K60. Handles great on the road both wet and dry. It’s also great for both big and small gravel and on dry mud. I do find it to be a bit slippery on the thin layers of wet mud when riding around the mountains, but I just had to adjust my style and be careful. I typically do about 70 on road and the rest is in the Rocky Mountains for a few week long trips each year. Anyway, I’m happy with it, it’s a good tyre. The rear K60 with the centre strip lasts forever on the road, but it’s a struggle to trust the traction when off road. My next back tyre will be something as aggressive but without the centre strip.
