I came from using CST Ancla's (on a 2017 Razor 570 sXs (non-EPS)), which are 4-ply bias tires. I run a lot of mixed terrain (clear-cut, logging roads, through streams, mud holes, pavement) and while I never had issues with the Ancla's, I wanted a more durable, rugged tire.
I honestly don't have any other tires to compare these two - aside from the CST Ancla's; but I ride with a lot of people who have Big Horn 2.0's -- and they always seem to have flats (one guy had 8 plugs in one Big Horn 2.0 tire).
I have over 1,000 km so far on these tires; and am very happy.
What I used to have to go through in 4w, low gear, I can now rip through in high gear, 2w. These tires throw mud/rocks everywhere. I've found mud on my roof; and people behind have had rocks thrown at them (nobody was injured, don't worry). While I'm still quite new to ATV'ing, I'm quite certain that if a tire is throwing dirt/mud/rocks away from itself, this is a good thing, since you don't want your tires taking on debris, especially mud.
I plan to ride these tires in the winter, as we have groomed ATV trails available to us in my area of New Brunswick (Rusagonis area).
I went with 26" (9x12 front, 10x12 rear), even though my Razor has a 2" High Lifter lift and has enough travel to accommodate 27" (my next tires will be 27"). Smooth ride, especially on asphalt (I don't like riding on it, as it does wear the lugs down faster than I'd like, but you can't avoid riding on it all of the time).
(While I am very much aware of the beverages many people imbibe while riding, I ride sober. So... depending on how you ride, YMMV with these tires).
