Product Details

AP SERIES 2012-2015 Procross, direct replacement.

Dalton Industries has a new construction method for this model. No porosity and extremely strong aluminum alloy. The final machined part has maximum strength and durability to handle big horsepower. These AP models are a one piece, direct bolt in replacement helix. Use the same factory spring spacer washers as the stock helix. The latest Gen 2 version (Jan. 2013) has some new features such as a slightly different spring pocket, and will accept some aftermarket torsion bearings.

Look for the Dalton "D" logo so you know it is 100% North American made!

Arctic helixes for this model will be designated by "AP" prefix before the angle.  Example: AP 46/38 or AP 46/38 P (progressive)

‘‘APT SERIES” PROCROSS / PROCLIMB HELIX

Optional two piece construction made to bolt into the 2012-2015 Procross applications. Some clutch tuners like having lots of tuning options. For those that tune with multiple helixes, this may be a more cost-effective option. The user can purchase one cover and can use it with multiple APT helixes. Once a DHC-200 cover is bolted on, this assembly is the same as a one-piece helix and you use the same factory plastic spring washers as a stock or Dalton ‘‘AP’’ model helix. Solid billet construction and the quality you expect from Dalton.

Dalton does not offer any torsion spring conversions. The Dalton "APT" helixes do work with some aftermarket torsion cover/kits but not all. If you are unsure contact us, as helixes are non returnable once they are cut.

Helixes of this type are designated "APT" before the angle for the part number.  Example: APT 48/42, or APT 48/42 P (progressive)

Note: A cover is required for use of this helix (part# DHC-200).

Compound Angles

  • These are cut similar to the factory helix, multi angles are blended and have less duration of the first angle, the second portion is more dominant and is a straight angle.

Reverse Angle (Blended)

  • Shallow angle as first part of shift pattern is non-typical

Reverse Angle (Progressive)

  • Shallow angle as first part of shift pattern is non-typical

AP Progressive

  • This is full progressive cut. There is no straight portion, a full progressive curve starts at one angle and finishes at the other

Partial Progressive

  • These partial progressive cuts are similar to stock type compound angles, but have a progressive curve portion on the short duration part at the first of the ramp. The remaining portion of the helix cut is still a straight angle. Since the first section of the helix is of short duration, the first angle listed can be misleading. Programming can be expensive, and testing these can be confusing and not what some expect. Through some trial and error, a few of these were popular with some of the higher rpm trail turbo applications, so we are listing them here.
