This kit is a simple replacement primary spring and custom spring seat.  This combination allows for earlier, more smooth clutch engagement. Less “jerky” than the factory setting. Smoother more positive engagement of the belt, along with slightly lower midrange cruising RPM.  Compression springs have a tendency to slightly “twist” as they compress.  The spring seat is a durable material we have used in many clutch applications and allows the spring to have more fluid motion and better consistency.
