Dalton ATV Clutch Puller for Polaris Sportsman

Good customer service & prompt delivery! I purchased the puller to remove the primary clutch from an '06 Polaris Trail Boss. The machining quality of the product has a good appearance & it worked well, however my clutch popped free easily with very little required force. That said, I've removed many clutches in the past that have required a significant amount of applied torque to the puller & even blows to the end of the puller with a med. weight hammer in order to get the clutch to pop free. Whether the puller can stand up to that kind of use remains to be seen. The one thing a user can do to prolong the life & effectiveness of their puller is to ensure that the threads are cleaned & lubricated prior to each use & that the tool is stored in a manner that does not damage the threads. Cleaning of the internal threads of the clutch prior to puller use is also mandatory. If the puller does not thread in all of the way by hand prior to tightening, the internal threads of the clutch should be chased accordingly. FWIW
