Dalton Snowmobile Primary Clutch Spring for Ski-Doo

I ordered this primary spring to replace the stock one in my renegade 900 ace n/a. The stock spring is a 100-300lbs, so I was expecting 600 top rpm gain. After some testing with only the primary spring changed, the engagement rpm is raised by 300 and top rpm is raised by 100. So 2500 rpm engagement and 7800 top rpm with old belt. With new belt I get lower rpm. I was expecting better top rpm, I try with the dalton secondary spring DPSS-B/Y/G 54-80lbs and now 2500 engagement rpm and 8000 top rpm. With the new secondary spring, the acceleration is mutch better! Thanks again!

I ordered this to replace the primary spring in my MachZ 1000, BRP has discontinued the stock spring and this was the closest one I could find. Just waiting for snow to try it out. Revco was great to deal with and spring showed up on schedule.
